Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the added 0.55% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.94% or 2.41 points to trade at 26.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Kathiri Holding Co (TADAWUL:) added 9.88% or 6.70 points to end at 74.50 and Saudi Marke (TADAWUL:) was up 9.88% or 2.40 points to 26.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ataa Educational Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 2.52% or 1.70 points to trade at 65.70 at the close. Saudi Public Transport Co. (TADAWUL:) declined 2.07% or 0.38 points to end at 18.00 and Americana Restaurants (TADAWUL:) was down 2.00% or 0.08 points to 3.92.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 192 to 69 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Kathiri Holding Co (TADAWUL:) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.88% or 6.70 to 74.50.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.17% or 0.14 to $80.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.06% or 0.05 to hit $84.94 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.57% or 11.70 to trade at $2,023.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.14% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 101.74.
