FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that leading trader information portal and FX/CFD broker affiliate site Investing.com has hired Yonatan Adest, as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Yonatan Adest is best known in the FX and CFD brokerage world as the co-founder and longtime CEO of social trading focused brokerage Tradeo (and associated brand PlusMarkets). Mr. Adest, who was also former CTO of FXUC (now Finexo), set up Tradeo in 2012 and ran it as CEO until leaving in 2018. Tradeo (and PlusMarkets) shut down last year, although the group has still retained its CySEC license via CIF license holder UR Trade Fix Ltd.
After leaving Tradeo, Yonatan Adest became involved with a company called Katif which builds stackable, robotic and vertical farms. Most recently he was with a still-unnamed fintech stealth-mode startup the past two years, as its Chief Product Officer.
Investing.com was acquired in 2021 for $500 million by an East Asia based private investment fund, but is still run mainly from Israel, where it was originally founded as ForexPros.com.
