FNG Exclusive… The exodus of top level talent from soon-to-shut-down CFDs broker OvalX is continuing.
FNG has learned that longtime OvalX (formerly ETX Capital) executive Mark Foulds has joined London based Alvar Financial Services Limited as Co-Head of High Net Worth Trading. Alvar creates bespoke prime brokerage solutions for institutional investors, hedge funds and family offices, with execution and settlement services across global equities, derivatives and FX, all on one account.
Alvar also operates Retail FX and CFDs broker Intertrader.com, which recently hired former ETX Capital executive Joe Rundle as CEO. (Interestingly, Rundle was most recently with Capital.com, which bought up OvalX’s client base, as was also exclusively reported at FNG earlier this year).
Mark Foulds had been with OvalX / ETX Capital for 20 years, serving as Head of Spreadbetting Sales for the FCA licensed broker. He also worked previously as a Dealer at City Index.
