Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the were First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:), which rose 3.92% or 590.00 points to trade at 15,640.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Newmed Energy LP (TASE:) added 2.79% or 29.00 points to end at 1,070.00 and Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:) was up 2.19% or 145.00 points to 6,765.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:), which fell 2.72% or 240.00 points to trade at 8,580.00 at the close. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) declined 2.15% or 54.00 points to end at 2,460.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.02% or 41.00 points to 1,993.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 234 to 231 and 35 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.08% or 0.06 to $75.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.14% or 0.11 to hit $80.22 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 2.25 to trade at $1,963.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.74% to 3.62, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.05% to 4.05.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.61% at 99.58.
