Gibraltar based online trading firm Intertrader has announced that it has onboarded experienced FX industry veteran Joe Rundle, as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Joe Rundle spent the last year with Capital.com, joining in early 2022 with the title Chief of Staff, effectively acting as #2 to then-CEO Jon Squires. However Mr. Squires was soon-after replaced as Capital.com CEO by former IG Group CEO Peter Hetherington, who has proceeded to hire quite a number of his former IG colleagues to senior positions at Capital.com. Jon Squires then left Capital.com to join Skilling as Executive Chairman.
Prior to joining Capital.com Joe Rundle was CEO of Retail FX and CFDs broker Markets.com in Cyprus from 2018-2021, when Markets.com was owned by Playtech (LON:PTEC) before being sold as part of Finalto to Gopher Investments. He has also held senior management roles at ThinkMarkets and ETX Capital.
Intertrader was acquired last year from gaming firm Entain plc (LON:ENT) by Gibraltar/London based investment firm Burren Capital Advisors. The company is run from Gibraltar, London, and Bulgaria, operating under a license from the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission.
