Japanese online trading company Rakuten Securities has launched a new AI chat service, “Investment AI Assistant (beta version)” jointly developed with Rakuten Group.
“Investment AI Assistant (beta version)” is equipped with an AI model (patented) originally developed by Rakuten and an original AI that combines ChatGPT.
For the time being, the service will be available in a beta version (experimental operation until the end of September), so it will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis and with a maximum number of users. As soon as the daily usage limit is reached, the service for the day will be terminated, but it will be available again the next day.
The aim of the new service is to support investment beginners who invest for the first time in their lives, face many difficult terms and experience hurdles.
Triggered by the corona crisis that started in 2020, the number of accounts opened at Rakuten Securities has increased rapidly, and the percentage of people who are starting to invest for the first time has increased. In order to continue investing, it is necessary to continue to learn and to obtain at least a little investment knowledge. Rakuten aims to provide a service that allows customers to continue investing for 10 or 20 years to build their assets, and it will actively explore the use of generative AI as part of providing information that is easy for customers to learn.
How to use the new AI Chat?
After agreeing to the investment AI assistant terms of use and precautions for use, click the “Start using” button to transition to the chat screen.
On the chat input screen, ask investment questions such as “What is the recommended investment method for beginners?”, “What can I buy with the new NISA?”
Enter a question and AI will generate an answer sentence.
