Amit will report to CEO and MD Srini Pallia and join the Wipro Executive Board. The company said he will also lead its efforts to drive consulting-led, AI-powered growth and guide clients through business and technology changes. Kumar will leverage Wipro’s expertise to deliver transformative AI, data, and industry solutions, helping businesses scale and grow amid digital disruption.

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), has signed a contract valued at ₹610 crore for supply of Electro Optic Fire Control System (EOFCS) for Indian Navy. This fully indigenously developed system will be installed and integrated on board Indian Naval Platforms. The system is capable of panoramic/sector search, tracking all types of targets during day/night and engages the tracked targets with the medium range and short range gun mounts.

Alembic Pharmaceuticals has received Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) with classification as “Voluntary Action Indicated (VAI)” for the inspection carried out by US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) at its Solid Oral Formulation Facility (F-4) at Jarod, Vadodara. The inspection was conducted from November 14, 2024 to November 22, 2024. In a separate notice, it has informed the exchanges that the USFDA conducted a surveillance inspection at the group’s API Manufacturing site situated at Ambernath in Maharashtra. The inspection was conducted from February 10 to 14 and concluded with nil observations.
The Resolution Plan submitted by JSW Energy for KSK Mahanadi Power Company Ltd, which was approved by the Committee of Creditors on January 13, 2025, has received the approval of the National Company Law Tribunal, Hyderabad. As per the approved plan, against the admitted claims of over ₹26,094 crore, the KSK Mahanadi’s creditors will get ₹16,084.08 crore. The plan provides for upfront cash payment of ₹15,985.08 crore to financial creditors of KSK Mahanadi, which is nearly 50% of their admitted claims. The major financial creditors include Aditya Birla ARC Limited, Prudent ARC Limited, Power Finance Corporation Limited, Rural Electrification Corporation among others.
