A team of students from NMAM Institute of Technology (NMAMIT), Nitte (Udupi district), showcased an event management system, a digital platform designed to streamline the management of college fests and technical events, to industry experts in Mangaluru recently.
According to the team, the system features seamless event registration, team formation, real-time participant tracking, score judging system and automated scheduling, among others.
Highlighting the academic excellence and industry collaborations of NMAMIT, Shashank Shetty, Assistant Professor, NMAMIT, emphasised the importance of industry feedback in refining student projects.
Interacting with students, Praveen Udupa, Founder and Technical Director of A1 Logics, advised the team to generalise the platform for broader commercialisation, integrate AI-driven features, and enhance scalability beyond college fests. He encouraged the students to refine the platform for market readiness.
