The operations to save the lives of eight workers trapped inside the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) Tunnel in Domalapenta in Telangana are progressing at a brisk pace and the mud near the accident spot is being cleared.

On Friday, the seventh day of operations, the rescue teams made some progress and completely removed the parts of the crashed bore drilling machine that had blocked the way until now. According to officials, the mud and water are now being removed at the accident spot with the utmost care to not harm the workers if they are trapped inside.
