N Space Tech, a Hyderabad-based defence and aerospace start-up, has appointed Madhumita Chakravarti as its Head of Research and Development.
At N Space Tech, Chakravarti will oversee research initiatives in RF sensors, radar systems, and aerospace defence applications. She will focus on strengthening indigenous defence capabilities and ensuring compliance with technical and operational requirements.
“Chakravarti will lead advancements in radio frequency (RF) systems and aerospace technologies,” a senior N Space Tech executive said.
A Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) veteran with over 30 years of experience, Chakravarti played a key role at Research Centre Imarat (RCI), where she developed programmable and reconfigurable airborne RF sensors for air and missile defence programs.
“She also developed multi-function RF chips for RF sensors. The systems designed by her are now deployed by the Indian Air Force and Army as part of weapon systems,” Divya Kothamasu, Founder and Director, N Space Tech, said in a statement here on Thursday.
