Cyient Limited, a global intelligent engineering solutions company, has appointed K A Prabhakaran as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of its DET business, as announced today.
The shares of Cyient Limited closed today at ₹1,254 down by ₹15.60 or 1.23 per cent on the NSE.
Prabhakaran joins Cyient from Honeywell, where he served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for the Process Solutions group. With over 30 years of experience in the engineering and R&D sector, he has previously led global teams across industries including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Life Sciences, and Renewable Energy.
In his new role at Cyient, Prabhakaran will be responsible for driving the company’s technological vision and developing market-ready solutions to enhance competitiveness. He will also focus on expanding Cyient’s technology footprint through innovation and building new capabilities across the organisation.
Previously based in Houston, Texas, Prabhakaran will now operate from Bengaluru, India. His expertise in building technology solutions for large OEMs in areas like avionics aligns with Cyient’s key focus areas.
Cyient’s Executive Director and CEO Sukamal Banerjee expressed confidence that Prabhakaran will accelerate the company’s leadership and advance CyientifIQ, their innovation platform. The company currently serves over 300 global customers, including 30 per cent of the top 100 global innovators.
