Robotic and automation solutions company Addverb launched three new warehouse robots at LogiMAT India 2025, namely Trakr 2.0, a high-order carousel automation (HOCA) system and an intuitive user interface Brisk, that will improve automation at storage centres and make them safer.
Speaking to businessline, Bir Singh, Co-Founder of Addverb said the machines will provide increased efficiency and safety to workers by taking up “dirty, dangerous work for which human beings are not made.” While the quadruped robot Trakr 2.0 can carry payloads of up to 20 kg in warehouses and Brisk enhances picking and put-away processes , the HOCA robot is built specifically for quick commerce.
“These robots are small in size, so you can push it inside the shop. You can quickly pick the item as per the customer requirement,” said Singh.
“Byproducts of AI”
Stating that all three machines are “byproducts of AI,” Singh anticipated demand for these products for surveillance, inspection, especially by the Arm and Navy.
“These robots we see in each and every manufacturing industry. So, right now our focus is warehouse, but slowly we are moving outside the warehouse as well,” he said.
When asked how India’s approach to building indigenous AI would affect the robotics industry, Singh said it will enable cost and time efficiencies as well as easier access to technologies.
“Tight now, we are dependent upon entities like NVIDIA for something like robot training and virtual simulation. So, the AI models are built based upon the robots of other companies. If we are able to make AI models in India, our robots will get trained on local models and environment. It will help us from a cost perspective and we will get the best of the best technology,” he said.
