Agri-tech startup Fuselage Innovations emerged the winner at the Startup Pitch Hub in the Convergence India 2025 Expo. The company has qualified for fully sponsored exhibition space at the Expand North Star Dubai in October and G-Tex Europe in Berlin in May.

The Kochi-based Fuselage, incubating under the Kerala Startup Mission, will also get a place at the Super Challenge 2025 Startup Conference in Berlin in June, as well as the Supernova Challenge Pitch in Dubai.

The Convergence India Expo in New Delhi saw 10 start-ups making it to the final round. Apart from Fuselage, three were from Kerala: C-DISC Technologies, Genrobotic Innovations and Inker Robotic Solutions.

The company, whose main products fall under the head agricultural technology, drone fertilisation and surveillance, was launched in 2020 by siblings Devan and Devika Chandrasekharan.

Fuselage has the technology to understand fertiliser application and disease outbreaks through aerial observation, following which it can implement solutions through drones, Managing Director Devan said. “Our goal is to introduce a digital agricultural model for sustainable agriculture and food security so as to develop a better farming culture.”

It earlier received the Prem Beht Excellence in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Spirit Award, which carries a purse of Rs 1 lakh. The start-up was selected for the UK’s Global Entrepreneurship Program in 2023, making it headquartered in the UK.
