Atlas Copco Group has launched a new manufacturing facility in Talegaon, Pune, spanning 270,000 sq. ft. The plant will produce air and gas compressors, including CNG, biogas, and hydrogen compressors, air dryers, nitrogen and oxygen generators, and medical filtration accessories.
Built on Industry 4.0 principles, the facility integrates smart manufacturing and sustainability, with 80 per cent of its energy sourced from a 1.3 MW rooftop solar system and grid supply. It also features rainwater harvesting and advanced cooling systems.
Equipped with multiple testing capabilities, the facility supports research and development for future innovations. It holds ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 certifications, ensuring compliance with the highest quality, safety, and environmental standards.
The launch, first announced in 2023, strengthens Atlas Copco’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in India.
