Austria-based AT&S AG, a global leader in IC substrates and printed circuit boards with a turnover of €1.5 billion, has announced the establishment of an Information Technology Shared Service Centre (IT SSC) in Pune, Maharashtra, to support its trans-continental operations.
The new IT SSC will cater to AT&S Group’s operations across Austria, China, Malaysia, and India, offering opportunities for skilled IT professionals in IT Security, SAP, and program development. The company plans to hire over 100 technical experts by 2025-26 to support its six manufacturing plants and nine sales offices worldwide.
The Pune centre is a key component of AT&S’s Target Operating Model, aimed at leveraging India’s IT talent pool to deliver high-quality IT services. With this move, AT&S joins other global corporations in setting up shared service hubs in India, reinforcing the country’s position as a preferred destination for IT expertise and innovation.
