AXISCADES subsidiary partners with Altera for aerospace & defence computing solutions

AXISCADES Technologies Limited announced today that its subsidiary, Mistral Solutions, has formed a strategic alliance with Altera to develop high-performance computing solutions for the aerospace and defence sectors. The partnership, unveiled at an event in Bengaluru on March 4, will leverage Altera’s Agilex 9 Direct RF FPGA technology for mission-critical defence applications.

The shares of AXISCADES Technologies Limited were trading at ₹780 up by ₹37.10 or 4.99 per cent on the NSE today at 1.23 pm reaching its upper band.

During the event, which was attended by representatives from DRDO, ISRO, HAL, and BEL, Mistral also launched its new VPX3U-AGRW027/014 Processing Cards. These SOSA-aligned 3U VPX processing engines feature Altera’s FPGA technology and are designed for rugged environments, offering high-performance computing with ARM Cortex-A53 processors and integrated 8-channel ADC & DAC capabilities.

“We are excited to join hands with Altera in accelerating defence technology innovation,” said D Murali Krishnan, CEO of Mistral Solutions. “This strategic collaboration will empower defence programs with high-performance computing, enabling real-time data processing and ultra-low latency communication.”

The company also revealed its technology roadmap for products using the Altera Agilex 9 Direct RF FPGAs, targeting applications in Electronic Warfare Systems, Radar and Signal Intelligence, and Space and Aerospace Signal Processing.

AXISCADES, headquartered in Bengaluru, employs over 3,000 professionals across 15 global locations and specialises in the aerospace, defence, and ESAI (Electronics, Semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence) domains.
