Indian two-wheeler maker Bajaj Auto will invest 150 million euros (₹1,364 crore) in Bajaj Auto International Holdings to fund the needs of the subsidiary for investment opportunities.
Bajaj Auto International is the two-wheeler maker’s Netherland-based subsidiary and had a turnover of ₹19.09 crore and a net worth of ₹5,487 crore as of March 31, 2024.
The proposed investment is a related party transaction and will be carried out on an arms-length basis, the company informed the stock exchanges.
Bajaj Auto reported an increase of 8 per cent in consolidated net profit with ₹2,195 crore and an 8.24 per cent increase in revenue from operations reported in the quarter that ended in December.
