BGR Tech Ltd, a Prenora holding company in India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Elchemtech Co Ltd, South Korea. The agreement aims to introduce the Advanced Proton Exchange Membrane Water Electrolyser (PEMWE) using the supply of their PEM electrolyser, which shall be further integrated with BGR Tech’s Balance of Plant (BoP) for projects in India.
As part of the collaboration, both companies are also exploring the potential to manufacture or assemble PEM stacks in India, according to a statement.
Elchemtech’s flagship H2Lyser© PEMWE is widely recognised for its high efficiency and compact design. Under this partnership, BGR Tech will integrate key components, including Ultrapure Water Treatment, Gas Separation (GSU), Hydrogen Purification (HPS), Oxygen Purification (OPS), and Low-Pressure Storage, into modular skid configurations.
The collaboration marks a significant step for BGR Tech in expanding its portfolio of hydrogen solutions.
