Blue Star Limited announced today the launch of an expanded range of commercial refrigeration products for summer 2025, designed to address diverse cooling needs across multiple industries.
The shares of Blue Star Limited were trading at ₹2,108.20 down by ₹23 or 1.08 per cent on the NSE today at 12.25 pm.
The expanded portfolio includes deep freezers with cooling performance down to -26°C, available in capacities from 60L to 600L, with prices starting at ₹16,000. The company has also enhanced its offerings of storage water coolers, bottled water dispensers, visi coolers/freezers, and cold room solutions.
Blue Star manufactures its deep freezers and water coolers at plants in Wada and Ahmedabad, supporting the ‘Make in India, Make for the Globe’ initiative. The Wada facility, which is platinum certified by the Indian Green Building Council, has capacity for 3 lakh deep freezers and 1 lakh water coolers annually, while Ahmedabad can produce 1 lakh deep freezers.

According to Managing Director B Thiagarajan, growth in the commercial refrigeration industry is being driven by demand from ice cream manufacturers, quick-service restaurants, the hospitality sector, quick commerce, food retail, and healthcare.
The company is focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability, using low-GWP refrigerants and eco-friendly insulation blowing agents. Blue Star has invested in R&D infrastructure, including NABL-accredited testing labs, and has filed numerous patents and design registrations.
