Boston Consulting Group and Accenture Strategy make highest offers at IIMA placements

The Boston Consulting Group and Accenture Strategy made the highest number of offers while participating in the just-concluded final placements process for the Post Graduate Programme in Management – Class of 2025 – at the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A).

Boston Consulting Group made the most with 35 offers, followed by Accenture Strategy with 30 offers during the placements, where students were placed across 30 cohorts.

“This year, the following cohorts witnessed a significant increase in the number of offers: Niche Consulting offers increased by 22%; Fintech by 40%; Cards and Financial Advisory by 300%; Advisory Consulting by 120%; Retail B2B & B2C by 400% and Consumer Tech by 800%,” IIMA stated.

Professor Viswanath Pingali, Chairperson of the Placement Committee at IIMA stated, “Amidst the current volatile state of the geopolitical environment, we expected strong headwinds for this year’s placement season. However, corporates showed faith in IIMA as usual. Students, too, were well prepared for the job market. Variety of firms and roles offered are testaments to the quality of students at IIMA, as well as the faith the recruiters have in our institute and its students.”

Among the Investment Banks, Goldman Sachs was the largest recruiter, making nine offers, closely followed by Avendus Capital with seven offers. In the General Management domain, Tata Administrative Services made the highest number of offers – five, followed by GMR Group with four offers. Amongst the new recruiters onboarded, some key firms were GMR Group, Pekers Group, Pluckk and Showtime Consulting.   

In the Laterals processes, FinIQ Consulting made the highest number of offers (11), closely followed by Navi Technologies with 10 offers.
