1. Morning walks: My day begins at 6.30 am with two large glasses of water and a walk along the Thames with wife Sabena and our dog Charlie. It’s a time for reflection, light exercise, and meaningful conversations before the day’s demands take over.

2. Sustainable living: Growing up on my parents’ five-acre farm instilled respect for organic, locally-sourced food. I eat free-range milk/eggs and pesticide-free produce, like Kabini rice — sourced from Wayanad’s farmers.

3. Music for the soul: Trained in Carnatic vocal, I find joy in singing ghazals and film music. Music is my stress-buster and a passion I share with family — bonding over melodies and discussions on soulful musicians.

4. Intermittent fasting: My eating window is 11.30 am to 7.30 pm. Breakfast is wholesome — dosa, ragi, or chia seed pudding. Dinner is light, often probiotic yoghurt and millets, with grains only once a day usually.

5. Yoga and alternative medicine: Daily breathwork revitalises and cleanses my system, keeping mind and body in balance. I avoid synthetic medication, even common painkillers, and rely on natural remedies. Ayurveda is my preferred approach to healing and wellness.
