Chhattisgarh: Jashpur tomato farmers struggle with plummeting prices amid decline in demand

Farmers in Jashpur, Chhattisgarh, are reporting severe difficulties as the demand for tomatoes in the interstate market has sharply declined, leading to a drastic fall in prices.

Some farmers say that wholesale price for tomatoes have dropped to as low as just Rs 1 to Rs 2 per kg.
