Classic Legends manufacturer of Jawa, Yezdi and BSA will grow its presence in the international market. With its product offerings, the company will enter the US, Australia Middle East and Southeast Asia markets.

The Pune-based motorcycle maker will also launch the BSA Scrambler 650 in its international market. The company presently has overseas operations in the UK, Europe, Philippines, New Zealand and Turkey.

“Initially our focus was on UK and European markets where there is a sense of nostalgia for these iconic brands. Each market has its own riding culture, and we intend to extend the heritage of classic motorcycles to these markets. However, the response overseas has exceeded our expectations. In 2025-26 we are excited to bring our motorcycles to other overseas markets,” Sharad Agarwal, Chief Business Officer, Classic Legends told businessline.

Classic Legends is a three-way venture between the Mahindra Group, Anupam Thareja and Boman Irani of the Rustomjee group. The company manufactures its motorcycles at the Pthampue plant in Indore Madhya Pradesh and has launched a customer assurance programme. The customers will get a 4-year/50,000 km standard warranty complemented by extended coverage options of upto 6 years, a two-year anytime warranty and one year of complimentary roadside assistance.

“We are now set to disrupt the market with our segment-leading Customer Ownership Assurance program launched this week, setting new benchmarks in the mid-capacity motorcycle segment and delivering unparalleled peace of mind for riders across India.,” added Sharad Agarwal.

The company has spent ₹350 crore on upgradation, research and development, tooling and motorcycle launches. It plans to invest ₹1,000 crore over the next three years to ramp up marketing, distribution and new product development. Classic Legends is also planning to introduce electric versions of its motorcycles but believes that the market is not ready for motorcycle EVs due to charging constraints.
