Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.81%.
The best performers of the session on the were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:), which rose 1.68% or 17.60 points to trade at 1,063.40 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) added 1.54% or 205.00 points to end at 13,555.00 and Genmab (CSE:) was up 1.47% or 38.00 points to 2,625.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:), which fell 2.87% or 5.36 points to trade at 181.70 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:) declined 2.30% or 6.20 points to end at 263.30 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:) was down 1.53% or 2.55 points to 163.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 63 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.56% or 1.20 to $75.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.46% or 1.19 to hit $80.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 1.00 to trade at $1,962.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.63, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 99.50.
