Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the gained 1.02%.
The best performers of the session on the were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:), which rose 3.96% or 500.00 points to trade at 13,120.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) added 3.53% or 455.00 points to end at 13,350.00 and GN Store Nord (CSE:) was up 3.36% or 5.40 points to 166.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:), which fell 1.16% or 7.80 points to trade at 664.20 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:) declined 1.12% or 9.00 points to end at 797.40 and ISS A/S (CSE:) was up 0.07% or 0.10 points to 139.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 59 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.42% or 0.32 to $76.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.51% or 0.41 to hit $80.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 3.55 to trade at $1,965.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.56% to 6.66, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 99.65.
