Ford Motor Company (NYSE:) made a surprise unveiling of its Mustang Mach-E Rally at the Goodwood Festival of Speed Friday, marking the first time in nearly 60 years that a Mustang has been associated with rallying.
While specific details surrounding the vehicle are still unknown, we know that the rally-designed electric SUV is an off-road-oriented Mustang that should easily bridge the transition from asphalt to dirt roads.
Former World Rally champion and current M-Sport Ford Puma Hybrid Rally driver, Ott Tänak, will take the wheel of the rally-inspired electric SUV as it conquers the Goodwood hill. This exciting event offers enthusiasts and onlookers a prime opportunity to witness the Mustang Mach-E Rally in action and get an up-close look at its impressive performance.
