Greenpanel expands MDF capacity with new production line in Andhra Pradesh

Greenpanel, a BSE-listed wood panel manufacturer, has launched a new production line at its manufacturing facility in Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh. With this addition, the company’s medium-density fibreboard (MDF) manufacturing capacity has increased from 6.60 lakh cubic meters to 8.91 lakh cubic meters (CBM).

“This latest addition caters to a growing demand for precision-engineered MDF solutions across various applications. This new MDF line will enable the company to cater to evolving market demands,” Shobhan Mittal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, said in a statement on Thursday.

The company, which has manufacturing plants in Uttarakhand and Andhra Pradesh, produces MDF, plywood, pre-laminated MDF, and wooden flooring. It sells its products through a distribution network spanning more than 3,000 locations across the country.
