ICC and Unilever form landmark partnership for women’s cricket

The International Cricket Council (ICC) and Unilever announced a landmark two-year partnership today, establishing Unilever’s personal care brands Rexona and Dove as the ICC’s first dedicated commercial partner for women’s cricket through 2027.

The ground-breaking deal, revealed during a cricket festival in Dubai coinciding with International Women’s Day, aims to accelerate the global development of women’s cricket. The partnership will cover major tournaments including the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 in India, Women’s T20 World Cups, U19 Women’s T20 World Cups, and the inaugural Women’s Champions Trophy in 2027.

ICC Chairman Jay Shah called the partnership “a pivotal moment for women’s cricket” that will “empower female cricketers, inspire future generations, and contribute significantly to the continued growth and success of women’s cricket globally.”

The collaboration includes various initiatives ranging from Flag Bearers programmes to digital experiences during events. Rexona will also enable participation through women’s cricket festivals and collaborate on women’s hygiene education programmes.

Rohit Jawa, CEO of Hindustan Unilever, noted the partnership allows Rexona “to tap into a cultural moment, connect with new audiences, and importantly help drive women’s cricket further.”

The shares of Hindustan Unilever Limited were trading at ₹2,266 up by ₹61.45 or 2.79 per cent on the NSE today at 1.33 pm.
