Infinx acquires MedReceivables to expand pathology revenue Cycle Services

Infinx, an AI-powered healthcare revenue cycle management provider, has acquired MedReceivables Advisor (MRA), a company specializing in pathology billing for hospital-based practices, according to a March 3rd announcement.

The acquisition expands Infinx’s capabilities in pathology coding, billing, and revenue cycle management. New service offerings will include litigation support, managed care contracting, credentialing, payer contract reviews, and fee schedule monitoring.

Infinx CEO Jaideep Tandon described the acquisition as a “natural fit” with the company’s strategy to connect providers, patients, and payers through technology solutions.

MRA CEO David Smith emphasized that joining Infinx will allow his company to offer clients a broader range of solutions, highlighting Infinx’s HITRUST certification and AI expertise as key advantages.

Founded in 2012, Infinx provides AI-driven solutions for healthcare providers’ financial operations. The company currently serves 172,000 healthcare professionals across 4,000 facilities in the U.S., India, and the Philippines.

MRA brings 40 years of combined experience in medical billing management for hospital-based physicians, including pathologists, radiologists, and emergency room physicians.
