Jio Financial, Zomato to enter Nifty from March 28

Jio Financial Services and Zomato will enter Nifty50 index in place of Britannia Industries and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), said a release from the National Stock Exchange.

Nifty Next50 will see inclusion of seven stocks: Bajaj Housing, BPCL, Britannia, CG Power, Hyundai Motor India, Indian Hotels and Swiggy in place of Adani Total Gas, BHEL, IRCTC, Jio Financial, NHPC, Union Bank and Zomato.

Nifty 100 index

The NSE has also changed five constituents in Nifty 100 index that will see inclusion of recently listed HMIL and Swiggy along with Bajaj Housing Finance, Indian Hotels and CG Power and Industrial. On other hand, Adani Total Gas, BHEL, IRCTC, NHPC and Union Bank will be excluded.

The Nifty500 will see 29 exclusions and 30 inclusions. Similarly, Nifty Midcap150 will see 17 replacements and Nifty Smallcap250 will witness 33 changes.

The changes to its benchmark indices will take effect from March 28.
