Karnataka, with its world-class infrastructure and business-friendly environment, is an ideal destination for investment, observed Rajnath Singh, the Defence Minister of India.
Speaking at the inauguration of Invest Karnataka 2025 – Global Investors Meet on Tuesday, the Union Minister said that investors choosing the State will receive the support of the entire nation.
“Those with doubts about India’s future should visit Bengaluru and witness its IT ecosystem, start-ups, and ground-breaking research—this will chase away all uncertainties,” he said in his speech.
Karnataka is a State where knowledge and wealth go hand in hand, he said, adding that Bengaluru, the technology capital of India, is a hub for aerospace, artificial intelligence, talent, and young innovators.
“The city’s ambition, energy, and transformative initiatives are propelling the country forward. Soon, the first-ever AI model from this sector will emerge from here, driven by its skilled workforce and readiness for innovation,” Singh stated.
He further emphasised that a market-driven economy is essential for sustainable growth, and private enterprises are playing a crucial role. While historically, investors faced bureaucratic hurdles, they are now welcomed with open arms.
India is emerging as one of the world’s largest markets, with significant policy decisions supporting this growth. Bengaluru’s pivotal role in India’s progress is also reflected in its extraordinary achievements in the aerospace sector, Rajnath Singh remarked.
