Kaveri Seed Company Limited has posted a net profit of ₹15 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2024, as against ₹11.66 crore in the same quarter last year, reflecting a growth of 29 per cent.
During the quarter, the company registered revenue of ₹155 crore as against ₹118.47 crore in the comparable quarter last year, reflecting a growth of 30 per cent.
For the nine-month period ended December 31, 2024, the Hyderabad-based company posted a net profit of ₹294.46 crore as against ₹290.22 crore in the same period last year, reflecting a marginal growth of 1.46 per cent. It registered revenue of ₹1,044 crore, compared to ₹982 crore during the period, reflecting a growth of over 6 per cent.
“Rice and Maize continue to do well during the quarter. An increase in volumes in both selection, hybrid rice and maize had resulted in good growth rates on account of good realisations and passing of increased production cost,” G V Bhaskar Rao, Chairman & Managing Director, said.
