Motherson International forms new treasury unit in Abu Dhabi

The shares of Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) were trading at ₹12, down by ₹3.81 or 2.89 per cent, on the NSE today at 10.30 am.

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Motherson Treasury Strategy Limited (MT), in Abu Dhabi Global Market, United Arab Emirates, the company announced on February 20, 2025.

The new entity, incorporated on February 19, will provide treasury related services including cash management, working capital management, and financing solutions for SAMIL and its subsidiaries.

MT will operate in the Group Treasury and Liquidity Management sector, with SAMIL holding 100 per cent of its share capital. No acquisition cost was reported as this is a new incorporation rather than an acquisition.
