NSE/BSE Top Gainers & Top Losers Today 12 Feb 2025: BAJAJFINSV, TATASTEEL, LT, M&M, ITC

Share prices of Bajaj Finserv Ltd., Tata Steel Ltd., Larsen & Toubro Ltd., UltraTech Cement Ltd., and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. emerged as the top gainers on Wednesday.

Among the laggards were shares of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., ITC Ltd., Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd., and IndusInd Bank Ltd.

The BSE Sensex witnessed high volatility before closing in the red. The BSE Sensex ended 0.16 per cent or 122.52 points lower at 76,171.08, while the NSE Nifty declined 0.12 per cent or 26.55 points to close at 23,045.25.

Top Gainers

Bajaj Finserv led the advances, rising 2.64 per cent to ₹1,790.50. Tata Steel shares showed strong momentum, gaining 1.65 per cent to ₹132.25.

L&T gained 1.51 per cent to close at ₹3,289.30, while UltraTech Cement added 1.41 per cent to finish at ₹11,460.30. Kotak Mahindra Bank completed the top five with a 1.35 per cent gain, ending at ₹1,943.30.

Top Losers

M&M was the biggest loser, dropping 3.20 per cent to ₹2,986.00. ITC declined 2.14 per cent to ₹409.50.

Power Grid fell 1.61 per cent to ₹257.30, while Reliance Industries slipped 1.53 per cent to ₹1,215.70. IndusInd Bank closed 1.52 per cent lower at ₹1,038.05.

The day’s trading was marked by significant volatility, with markets recovering sharply from early losses. The indices demonstrated resilience despite mixed global cues and continued foreign fund outflows.
