Ola Electric, one of India’s largest pure-play EV company, announced on Thursday the introduction of #HyperDelivery, a service offering same-day registration and delivery of electric vehicles (EVs). The initiative has begun as a pilot programme in Bengaluru and will be expanded across the country during the current quarter.

The company has implemented artificial intelligence to automate the registration process and brought vehicle registration in-house, eliminating middlemen and reducing processing times. This allows customers to complete their purchase online or at an Ola Electric Store and receive their fully-registered vehicles within hours.

“We have significantly cut the processing time of registering the vehicles through AI-led automation and by moving the registration process completely in-house,” said a company spokesperson. “With this, we are ensuring a much smoother purchase experience for our customers, eliminating tedious purchase processes and longer delivery timelines.”

Q-comm experience in auto

Ola Electric describes #HyperDelivery as bringing a “quick-commerce like experience” to the automotive sector, transforming the traditional vehicle purchase and delivery process. The company operates from its Ola Futurefactory, with research and development efforts spanning India, the UK, and the US.

With more than 4,000 stores across India and a strong online presence, Ola Electric maintains the largest company-owned network of automotive experience centres in the country. The company is also developing an extensive EV hub in Tamil Nadu, which includes the Ola Futurefactory and the upcoming Ola Gigafactory.
