In “Something of Shakespeare in Trump’s lawyers purge?” (Letters, February 4), your correspondent refers to Dick the Butcher in Shakespeare’s Henry VI Part II, who implores “let’s kill all the lawyers”.
But the character does not so much resemble Donald Trump as Elon Musk — for Dick plays lieutenant to the rebel leader, Jack Cade. Cade goes one step further, declaring: “Burn all the records of the realm: my mouth shall be the parliament of England”.
