Silly me, I was blaming the climate crisis on politicians

You report that the head of the National Audit Office believes that the government needs artificial intelligence “to tackle big problems such as climate change” (“Officials told to raise risk appetite for AI experiments”, February 4). I thought that the reason for the lack of action on improving domestic insulation, providing electric vehicle charging points and much else, was the unwillingness of politicians to pull their finger out and do something. Silly me.
