Srikanth Chakkilam quits Cigniti – The Hindu BusinessLine

Srikanth Chakkilam, who worked as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer at digital assurance and engineering company Cignity has bid adieu to the company that his father founded in 1998. The company was recently acquired by Coforge.

“After 15 incredible years, I’m saying goodbye to Cigniti, my professional home since August 17, 2009. We grew from a small, determined team into a $240 million leader in digital assurance and engineering, powered by nearly 5,000 amazing people who made it all possible,” he said, announcing his leaving the company on LinkedIn.

The company was founded by C V Subramanyam, Srikanth’s father, in 1998 and went public in 2004.

Coforge, which acquired 59.54 lakh shares in December 2024, took its holding to 54 p.c. (1.48 crore shares) in the Hyderabad-based company.

Srikanth worked as Executive Director till July 2024 of the company. Before that, he was the CEO for seven years from 2017 to January 2024.
