Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Ltd (SUD Life) had set up an IFSC Insurance Office (IIO) at Gujarat International Finance Tech City (Gift City) from where it plans to offer dollar-denominated life insurance solutions tailored for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and Resident Indians (RIs).

As part of this expansion, SUD Life has introduced its inaugural international product, SUD Life International Wealth Creator, a Unit Linked Life Insurance Plan (ULIP), designed to provide life insurance protection along with wealth creation opportunities, the company stated in an official release here. This plan empowers policyholders to invest in five different international funds—SUD Life GIFT US Equity Fund, SUD Life GIFT Global Equity Fund, SUD Life GIFT US Treasuries Fund,SUD Life GIFT EM Treasury Fund and the SUD Life GIFT Commodities Fund, each tailored to meet the evolving financial goals and risk appetites.
