K&R Rail Engineering, a BSE SmallCap company, has secured an order from government-owned Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation Limited, which is a first of its kind joint venture between 11 major ports under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, holding 90 per cent of equity capital, and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) under Ministry of Railways, holding 10 per cent of equity capital. The volume of the projects ranges from Rs 50 to 5000 crore, it said.

According to the block deal data available on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), IIFL Facilities Services purchased 59.77 lakh shares or 4.4 per cent stake in Avanti Feed s at an average price of Rs 786.
The NCLAT has issued a notice to Adani Group entity Ambuja Cements over a plea by Alok Sanghi, former promoter of Sanghi Industries, which was acquired by Ambuja in 2023. Passing an interim order on Tuesday, the appellate tribunal has stayed the order of the Ahmedabad-bench of NCLT which had directed initiation of insolvency proceedings against Alok Sanghi saying “in pursuance of the impugned order, no further steps shall be taken.” The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal granted two weeks’ time to Ambuja Cements and directed to list the matter on April 14, 2025. Alok Sanghi has moved NCLAT against an order passed by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on February 25, 2025, in an application under Section 95 of IBC filed by Ambuja Cements over the personal guarantee of Rs 84 crore by him.,
Coromandel International Ltd, part of the diversified conglomerate Murugappa Group, has set a target to double the sulphur manufacturing capacity to 50,000 tonne and has opened the second manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh in this connection, a top official said. The facility in Visakhapatnam is aimed at ensuring a steady supply of high-quality Bentonite Sulphur fertilisers to the farmers.
Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has received additional orders worth ₹577 crore since February 20, 2025, bringing the defence public sector undertaking (PSU)‘s total order book to over ₹13,000 crore for the current fiscal year 2024-25 (FY25). “Major orders include airborne electronic warfare products, an advanced composite communication system for submarine, doppler weather radar, train communication system, radar upgradation, spares, services, etc. With these, the total accumulated orders received by BEL during the current financial year stand at Rs.13,724 crore,” added BEL in its exchange filing.

JBM OGIHARA Die-Tech (P) Ltd (JODT) — a joint venture of Jay Bharat Maruti Ltd (JBML), JBM Auto Ltd (JBMA) and OGIHARA Thailand Co Ltd (OTC) — is in the business of manufacturing and selling press stamping dies and is a Tier 1 supplier of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL). BML has further acquired 25,00,000 equity shares (10 per cent) of JODT, an associate company, from its existing shareholder OTC, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) on Thursday announced securing new orders worth Rs 2,306 crore in the domestic as well the international markets, taking its total order book to Rs 22,500 crore. The international orders have been bagged by its transmission & distribution (T&D) business, while the buildings business has got orders in India, KPIL said in a statement.
The Board of Laurus Labs has approved investment of Rs 83.30 crore in KRKA Pharma (KRKA), a joint venture of the Company. Further, KRKA d.d., Novo mesto, Slovenia (co-venturer) shall also invest an equal amount thereby, maintaining the existing shareholding ratio of 51:49 between KRKA d.d., Novo mesto and Laurus Labs. The purpose of this investment is to acquire land and to meet initial cost of setting up of a manufacturing facility for production of finished products for the new markets, including the Indian market. This investment aligns with the company’s strategic growth plans and long-term business objectives.

Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the supply of a 2×25 KV Overhead Equipment (OHE) and Power Supply Installation (PSI) system from South Western Railway, with the project valued at Rs 156.35 crore. The said contract involves Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) for the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the 2×25 KV OHE and PSI system.
RITES has received Letter of Acceptance for Carrying out Final Location Survey involving Preparation of DPR, Final Alignment Design, Traffic Survey Report, ROR calculations, Detailed Estimate and Preparation of EPC documents for High Speed Elevated Rail Corridor between Hyderabad- Benguluru and Hyderabad-Chennai using Modern Survey Techniques e.g. Airborne or Terrestrial LIDAR” from South Central Railway and formal agreement shall be executed in due course. The value of the order is Rs 27.96 crore.
