Thomas Cook banks on Gen AI, rolls out India’s first specialised platform for business travel

Mumbai

Thomas Cook India on Thursday announced the launch of the country’s first specialised AI platform to improve the experience of corporate customers.

The platform will make it easier for corporate customers to make bookings or reschedule trips on 24/7 basis in a secure manner while adhering to organisation’s travel policies.

The platform developed in collaboration with LTIMindtree & Voicing. AI is christened as Dhruv. It is India’s first multi-modal multi-lingual agentic voice-enabled Gen AI advisor in business travel space, the company said in a press release.

The platform will address complexities of business travel requirements and offer faster, more accurate and highly personalised interactions through generative AI technology.

“Dhruv underscores our commitment to investing continually in technology to deliver meaningful solutions that empower us to achieve operational excellence and efficiencies, while ensuring exceptional customer experience,” said Madhavan Menon, Executive Chairman of Thomas Cook India.
