UST, a global technology and digital transformation solutions company, has strengthened its presence in India with the inauguration of a new office in Pune, Maharashtra. The expansion is expected to generate between 3,500 and 6,000 job opportunities over the next three to five years.

Located in Balewadi’s EQ Smartworks establishment, the newly launched facility spans 80,000 sq. ft and accommodates over 1,000 seats. It complements UST’s existing office at Sai Radhe Complex in Pune, reinforcing the company’s commitment to growth in the region.

The inauguration ceremony was led by UST’s Chief Executive Officer, Krishna Sudheendra, in the presence of Chief Operating Officer Alexander Varghese, Chief Values Officer Sunil Balakrishnan, President of Product Engineering Ramprasad Santhanagopalan, and other senior executives.

With over 2,000 employees, UST’s Pune Center of Excellence focuses on driving innovation and accelerating digital transformation. The center specializes in data science, data engineering, design, product engineering, and digital applications, catering to global enterprises across fintech, healthcare, life sciences, retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, and automotive industries.

The California, US-headquartered firm, UST founded in 1999 with its India headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram, has significantly expanded its footprint across the country, with offices in key locations including Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, Kochi, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi NCR, Ahmedabad, Hosur and employs over 20,000 employees in India.
