Viasat (VSAT) shares plunged more than 21% after-hours following the company’s disclosure regarding an unexpected event during reflector deployment that may significantly affect the performance of the ViaSat-3 Americas satellite.
Viasat is conducting a thorough review with the reflector provider to assess the impact and explore potential remedies.
The company mentioned that there is no disruption to customers, and the coverage and capacity of the Viasat and Inmarsat constellations remain unaffected.
