Zen Technologies Limited announced today it has been granted its third patent for the T-90 Tank Simulator, specifically for the Containerized Driving Simulator System (T-90 DS). The patent, filed in March 2022, will remain valid until March 2042.

The shares of Zen Technologies Limited were trading at ₹1,059.45 up by ₹14.15 or 1.35 per cent on the NSE today at 1.55 pm.

This latest addition brings Zen’s patent portfolio to four patents in 2025 and 14 in the fiscal year 2024-25. The company previously secured patents for the Basic Gunnery Simulator and Crew Gunnery Simulator for the T-90 tank, along with three patents covering T-72 and BMP-II tank simulator variants.

The T-90 DS is a high-fidelity portable training solution featuring a six-degree-of-freedom motion platform that replicates tank movements across various terrains. The system includes scenario-based AI training modules and integrates virtual and augmented reality technologies to enhance combat readiness.

Designed as a containerized system, the simulator can be easily transported and deployed at different military bases, providing flexibility for training operations without moving actual tanks.

Zen Technologies, headquartered in Hyderabad with a dedicated R&D facility recognized by India’s Ministry of Science and Technology, has applied for over 172 patents and delivered more than 1,000 training systems worldwide during its 30-year history in the defense training sector.
